Living Well With and Beyond Advanced Melanoma: Coaching Course
If you or one of your patients feels a bit ‘stuck’ after finishing treatment, Dr Suze Mellor, a GP and cancer coach who is living beyond her stage 4 melanoma diagnosis has created a 5-week coaching course for people living beyond an advanced melanoma diagnosis.
This is a VIRTUAL, free course for 10-12 people in a similar position running on Wednesday evenings from 7th August to 5th October 2026 inclusive. The first session is 2 hours from 6:30 – 8:30pm and subsequent sessions will be 6:30 – 8pm.
If interested, please complete this form.
If these particular dates don’t work for you, we plan to to run this course later this year.
Here is some information about what it involves!
The course aims to help you with those bits of life that might feel “stuck” or particularly challenging, after treatment for melanoma has finished. Some people describe feeling at a bit of a cliff edge when their treatment ends. Melanoma can affect you physically, mentally, financially, your relationships, your identity or self esteem… the list is endless!
Coaching is a way of looking at aspects of your life and working out ways to improve things – your wellbeing and general life satisfaction. As it will be in a group, you’ll have the opportunity to meet other people who have experienced a similar melanoma diagnosis to you.
Who:
A group of 10 – 12 people living after completion of treatment for advanced melanoma.
“Living Well With and Beyond Advanced Melanoma is available free of charge from Melanoma Focus. However as it is a pilot, we would appreciate your input in the form of questionnaires before and after the course, to help us evaluate and develop it for the future. It will be delivered and facilitated by Dr Suze Mellor. Suze is an NHS GP based in Bristol, living after stage 4 melanoma, who also works as a cancer coach.”
