Focus on Melanoma 2025
We recently hosted our annual Focus on Melanoma Healthcare Professional Meeting at the Royal College of Physicians, organised by, Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Mr Howard Peach. The event was filled with energy and insightful discussions, featuring exceptional national and international speakers. We extend our sincere thanks to this year’s organisers, speakers, chairs, sponsors, trustees, team, and the Royal College of Physicians for helping make this year’s meeting such a success.

The Martin Gore CBE Memorial Lecture was delivered by the eminent Associate Professor Alexander van Akkooi, Consultant Surgical Oncologist,
Melanoma Institute Australia. He provided an informative talk entitled ‘Surgery for Melanoma – Its Present and Possible Future Roles.’
The Virtual Melanoma Focus Regional Meeting will be held on Friday 15th May 2026. Please keep an eye out for future newsletters, emails and on our website for more updates. We hope that by organising both virtual and a face to face educational meetings, we will be able to invite more of the melanoma community to our events.
