After 9 years at Melanoma Focus, our Events and Office Manager, Michelle Bridge is leaving for pastures new. Michelle is the longest-standing member of our team and will be hugely missed. She has been an integral part of Melanoma Focus’s growth and successes over the past nine years. We would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to Michelle for everything she has done for Melanoma Focus. We wish her the very best of luck with her new venture.
Michelle’s reflection on the past 9 years:
“I have really enjoyed my time at Melanoma Focus, I can’t believe I’ve been with the charity nine years! Obviously over that time, there have been a number of changes, not least a change in CEOs but at the heart of everything we do, the patient has been the focus. The team are fantastic, every member of staff is valued and has an important part to play in helping the charity achieve its goals. Managing the professional meetings and more recently, the Melanoma Patient Conference is a privilege, to hear about the many advancements within melanoma and then see it from the patient experience at the patient conference is so rewarding. A real highlight of my job has been managing the Melanoma Helpline, I am constantly in awe of the cancer nurse specialists who work on it, their knowledge, patience and kindness is second to none.”
