Competition Terms and Conditions – Pass It On: Sun Safety Giveaway CLOSED

The Promoter: 
This promotion is run by Melanoma Focus in conjunction with Altruist Sunscreen.

Eligibility:
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
Employees of the Promoter(s) and their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the competition, are not eligible to enter the competition.  

Competition Period: 
The competition opens on the 11th May 2026 and closes at 23:59 on Sunday 17th May 2026  Entries received after this time will not be counted.  

How to Enter: 
To enter, participants must:  

  • Follow the official account of Melanoma Focus (and Altruist Sunscreen?) social media accounts  
  • Comment on the competition post answering: “Who taught you sun safety, or who are you passing it on to?” 
  • Tag at least one other person in their comment  

Option: Sharing the post to stories and tagging Melanoma Focus and Altruist Sunscreen will be considered an additional entry.  

The Prize: There will be a bundle prize for 1 winner.   

Prize include:

1x SPF 30 Cream 200ml 
1x Face Fluid SPF50  

Winner Notification:  

  • The winner will be contacted via private message on the platform that they used to enter.  
  • The winner must respond within [48 hours / 72 hours] to claim their prize.  
  • If the winner does not respond within this timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner  

Prize Delivery:  

  • The winners will be asked to provide a valid UK postal address for delivery  
  • Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered  
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any delays or issues with postal delivery  

Data Protection:  

  • Personal data supplied will only be used for the administration of the competition and delivery of prizes  
  • Data will be held in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will not be shared with third parties without consent  

General:  

  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where necessary. 
  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Content Usage:  

By entering, participants grant permission for their content to be reshared on the Promoters channels.
