Tebentafusp Not Recommended for use within NHS Scotland

April 2025

We are deeply disappointed that the SMC has not approved the use of tebentafusp for Scottish metastatic uveal melanoma patients.

Tebentafusp is the only treatment shown to improve survival for this rare form of melanoma. NICE issued final guidance approving tebentafusp for use in England in Januar

We will continue to support the SMC, Immunocore, and our friends at Ocular Melanoma UK to ensure that Scottish patients can gain access to this important medicine.
