Sir Chris Bryant

We are delighted for our patron, Sir Chris Bryant MP who has recently been awarded a Knighthood in the New Year’s Honours list in recognition of his political and public service.

Sir Chris is passionate about raising awareness about melanoma, the 5th most common cancer in the UK, along with his support into acute brain injury and important areas of his political life as MP for the Rhondda and chair of the Committee on Standards. This achievement is richly deserved, we would like to wish warm congratulations to Sir Chris and thank him for his continued support.

In 2019 after finding an unusual mole on the back of his head, Chris was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma. Chris underwent surgery and received adjuvant treatment.
