Carol’s Marathon Walk Challenge

Carol Chalk sadly lost her brother, Stephen to malignant melanoma in 2013. She decided to set herself a challenge and walk a marathon in his memory. She completed this challenge in 7.5 hours and raised £500 for Melanoma Focus!

Carol shared with us:

“I am taking on the challenge of Marathon Walk London in memory of my brother Stephen who sadly passed away in 2013 from malignant melanoma. He was passionate about raising money to support research into the disease and promote awareness. Melanoma Focus is a charity dedicated to research and support for patients and carers which is why I am supporting them by raising vital funds.”

We would like to say a very big thank you and well done to Carol, support like this means everything to us.
