Melanoma Focus is a national charity, serving patients and clinicians alike, with a strong professional membership and an important advocacy role in patient care as well as raising awareness of melanoma and campaigning.  We are well-established as a trusted source of high-quality, certified information and support for melanoma patients and carers including the Melanoma Helpline run by skilled skin cancer clinical nurse specialists.  Our accredited healthcare professional meetings have earned the charity significant national and international respect and a reputation for ‘punching above our weight’.

Our small, friendly team work remotely and meet in person at various locations in the UK for our biannual meetings and team away days. We are supported and advised by an expert board of trustees, patient panel and leading melanoma clinicians.

Helpline Responder-

The Melanoma Helpline has been open since 2017 and provides support for patients and carers at times when other services are busy or closed.  We have a vacancy for a skin cancer CNS with significant experience of adjuvant and metastatic treatments, to cover some regular weekday lunchtime shifts from 1-2pm.

You would be part of a friendly, supportive team of 7 skin cancer CNSs making a huge difference to anyone with a worry or concern about melanoma, but don’t just take our word for it, here is a quote from one of our callers: ‘Thank you so much for your time, kindness and expertise, I’ve been newly diagnosed and found you to be a resource available at a time when you most need information, thank you so much.’
