Coffee morning or afternoon tea

When Tracy was diagnosed with melanoma she decided to put on an

Tracy and Martyn Mead

afternoon tea to raise money to support our research into melanoma. Little did she know it would become something of an institution with friends and friends of friends asking to come to ‘the next one’.

Sadly Tracy passed away in August 2015, but her family and husband Martyn keep up the tradition hosting a packed afternoon tea twice a year.

Martyn’s tips hosting for a successful afternoon tea;

‘Ask local businesses to help. We are always given some amazing raffles prizes and our local school let’s us use their hall. It’s great promotion for them so it’s win-win.’

Raffle – will you choose the hamper or a meal at the local restaurant?
