Can I attend the meeting virtually?
This is an in-person meeting, but the recordings will be freely available via the Melanoma Focus website, around 2 weeks after the event.

What does the price cover?
Accommodation on Thursday 5th March; 3- course evening meal on Thursday 5th March; Breakfast on Friday 6th March; Conference on Friday 6th March; Lunch and refreshments on Friday 6th March; Delegate goodie bag
Is this a professional meeting?
Whilst this is a patient-centered event, we do allow for a number of clinical professionals to attend. However, this meeting is not CPD accredited and no certificates are issued for attending.
What are the timings of the meeting?
Room and event check-in will be in the Rover 2 room of the hotel from 4pm. Welcome drinks will be served at 7pm and dinner will be at 8pm. The meeting will start at 9am and will finish by 4:30pm on Friday 6th March.
When will the programme be available?
The programme will be available one month before the meeting and is subject to change. Printed copies of the programme will be in the delegate goodie bags.
I am a patient who lives outside the UK, can I attend?
We are a UK-focused charity and due to sponsorship constraints, attendance is currently limited to patients residing in the UK. However, you will be able to view the recordings online 2 weeks after the event.
I have particular accessibility or dietary requirements, who can I discuss this with before booking?
We strive to cater for all accessibility and dietary requirements, if we are notified in advance. If you would like to discuss your specific requirements to ensure they can be met, please contact mpc@melanomafocus.org
When will I receive full instructions about the meeting?
Once you have registered for the conference, you will receive confirmation on screen. Full delegate details will be sent to the email you register with, on Monday 2nd March.
I am a CNS, can my Trust be invoiced for my registration?
Yes, please ask your Trust to email your Purchase Order to mpc@melanomafocus.org Once the PO is received, you will receive the code to register with. We are unable to raise invoices without a PO as the NHS have a ‘No PO, No Pay’ policy.
I am a CNS attending with a colleague, if we register separately, are we able to share a room?
Yes, to request this please email mpc@melanomafocus.org with your names and cc your colleague.
I am attending with friends, can our rooms be reserved next to each other?
We can request this with the hotel but are unable to guarantee this. If you would like to have a room next to your friend, please email mpc@melanomafocus.org with yours and your friend’s names. Please ensure you are all registered first.
I have paid for a guest but they are no longer able to attend, what are my options?
There are several options: You can cancel your guest from your booking and be moved to a single room; You can change the name of your guest if you have an alternative guest; If you cancel by 31st January 2026, you may request a refund and re-register as a single attendee. Please contact mpc@melanomafocus.org to arrange.
I have registered as a single attendee, but I would like to bring a guest, what are my options?
If you notify us by 31st January 2026, you can re-register with the patient and guest rate and your original payment will be refunded. Please contact mpc@melanomafocus.org to take this option.
I am attending with a guest, are we able to have separate rooms?
If you wish to have a separate room from your guest, each person must pay the individual delegate rate. Otherwise, a twin room can be offered.
Can the hotel hold my luggage for the conference, when I check-out on Friday morning?
Yes, a cloakroom has been arranged and you are able to store your belongings safely there whilst you attend the conference.
Is it possible to book an extra night on Friday 6th March?
Additional evenings are payable in full by guests. You will be asked if you would like to book an extra night on the order form and if you tick this option, your email address will be sent to the hotel, who will send you a payment link to secure your booking.
I booked an extra night when I registered but no longer require this, how do I cancel it?
Providing the cancellation is made by Thursday 26th February, you will be refunded for the accommodation. Please email mpc@melanomafocus.org to cancel the extra nights’ accommodation and we will arrange the refund on your behalf.
I registered for the meeting but can no longer attend, what are my options?
You can view the recordings after the meeting via the Melanoma Focus website. If you cancel before 31st January you are entitled to have your registration fee refunded. Please email us on mpc@melanomafocus.org to arrange.
Is there parking onsite?
Yes, there is a large car park onsite, please ensure you enter your registration number at Reception upon check-in, to avoid a fine.
What is the closest train station?
The closest train station is Solihull, which is approximately a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
Is there are Facebook group for the event, so I can connect with other delegates beforehand?
Yes, you can request to join the private Facebook group. This gives you the option to car share and virtually meet other people in advance. Please email us for the link.
I am attending with friends, can we be seated together at the dinner?
The dinner is free-seating, so you can sit with whom you choose.
Is there a dress code for the dinner?
There is no dress code, feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable but some guests do choose to dress up for the occasion.
I am attending as a day delegate. Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, there will be a secure cloakroom for storing your items.
